Florida’s Trusted Roof Replacement Contractor
Despite all best efforts, eventually the time will come for a full roof tear off and replacement. But don’t worry, Talbot is an approved applicator of the best material brands in the roofing industry which allows us to offer 25 year manufacturer’s warranties on our roof replacements. And our 5+ decades of experience performing roof replacements in Florida means you’ll get top-notch workmanship on your new roof. Working with Talbot means quality, and quality means extended lifespan and longterm cost savings.
Roof replacements are recommended for roofs with irreparable damage to the decking or underlayment. Full replacements are the most costly type of roofing service, but are sometimes the correct recommendation if your roof is very old or has extensive damage. Our replacements come with a 25 year, no-dollar-limit manufacturer’s warranty.

Benefits of Roof Replacements
Despite the high cost of replacements when compared to recovers, coatings, or repairs, there are some distinct benefits to a completely new roof that you cannot achieve with other roofing services. The chance to install additional upgrades can be very attractive to businesses looking to modernize and elevate their space, and with Talbot, you’ll always have the added security of a 25 year manufacturer’s warranty on all of our roof replacements.
Which Roof Replacement is Right For You?
Unlike roof repairs and roof recovers, where you’re limited to using the materials of your existing roof, during a roof replacement you have an open door to choose a new roof type if you wish. Roof replacements are a perfect opportunity to evaluate the pros and cons of all roof styles and make the right choice for your business.

Frequently Asked Questions
What are the differences between the types of roofing services Talbot offers?
We offer 4 main roofing services: replacements, recovers, coatings, and repairs. A replacement is when the existing roof structure is torn off and replaced with a brand new roof. These types of services are reserved for very old roofs or those that have significant damage to the underlying roof structure.
A recover is the process of adding a new top layer to the existing roof and is performed when there is significant damage to the existing top layer, but the underlying structure is not damaged.
Roof coatings are sprayable or brushable coatings that we apply to the existing roof to extend its lifespan by covering cracks and holes. Coatings are perfect for moderately damaged roofs, but also for middle-aged roofs with minor wear and tear because they significantly extend a roof’s lifespan.
Roof repairs are reserved for minor cracks and the process involves applying a sealing agent to the damaged area. Repairs are best utilized as part of an annual preventive maintenance program to ensure small cracks don’t turn into larger problems.
Does Talbot offer warranties for roofing services?
We do! Because Talbot is an approved applicator of several of the most well-respected roofing material brands in the world, we are able to offer no-dollar-limit manufacturer’s warranties on our roofing applications.
For commercial roof replacements and recovers we offer a 25 year warranty, for commercial roof coatings we offer a 20 year warranty, and for commercial roof repairs we offer multi-year repair-area warranties.
On the residential side, our roof replacements come with 10 year warranties and our repairs offer the same multi-year repair-area warranty as our commercial repairs. Roof recovers and coatings are typically not performed on residential homeowner properties.
How do I know if I need to get my roof serviced?
Aside from the obvious problems that lead to roofing service calls such as leaks or visible tear-offs, it can be difficult to know if it’s time for a roofing service without a professional inspection. Talbot offers free inspections to analyze the health of your roof.
We know that often times, customers are hesitant to ask for free inspections because they feel that is just a roofing company’s way of getting in the door to tell them they need a costly replacement. That’s where Talbot has set itself apart from much of our competition. Unlike some contractors who only recommend replacements, even when they aren’t necessary, Talbot would prefer to do a roof coating or recover when applicable.
Why? Because it’s the right thing to do. We’ve made a name for ourselves by being South Florida’s most honest roofing company and we don’t intend to stop now. When you work with us, we promise not to oversell you, and we promise to always do what is right for you.

Fast and efficient! Work done correctly! I had roof damage and you can’t even tell that there was a repair. Would definitely recommend!
Michael Ise
Truly a great experience with Matt G. and Talbot Roofing. From the initial contact and follow up through the quality work and personal care in the work by Miguel and his team. They stuck to their quote despite clear challenges in the work required and stayed late to make sure things were buttoned up before the rain. Cannot say enough about Talbot--beyond just professional to personal care and attention to detail.
